Summer Vacation!!

My first attempt at decorating a cake. Grady's class theme was "Busy Bees" so thus the bee cake. Not too bad if I do say so myself.

End of the year party craft.

Conner and Grady posing by their artwork at Art and Author night.

Nana ordered a butterfly garden for the boys and they enjoyed watching them transform from caterpillars into butterflies. Here is their moment of freedom after being cooped up for a week or so while they enjoyed having "pets."

We had a great visit with Betsy and her brood. I'm ashamed to say that I don't have any pictures of Baby Brie, but managed to snap quite a few of the boys together. They all got tattoos...Grady's, of course, being the largest. (The girl couldn't put that enormous bird on his arm because it was too big so we opted for the leg. Foreshadowing no doubt.) Sesame Place was a hit with everyone and look forward to many more trips with the Tseronises.

The Tobeys were here a couple of weeks ago, despite Selim being slightly under the weather. Fun was still had by all - nothing can stop that!

Fun at the movies.

Field day 2010. Go Orange!!

Conner and Emily this past May. We had a really nice stay with my cousin Shannon and her fam while we were in town for the Sweeney/Courneen wedding. Conner and Grady had a blast with Emily and Robert and Shawn and I enjoyed catching up with Shannon and Stan. Oh yeah, the wedding was a blast, too. Congrats Steven and Caitlin!!

School's out for summer! As I type, the boys are at our neighbor's house for some pool time fun while I prepare for the first of our summer excursions...Pawley's here we come. We've been having a super time, spending every weekend at the pool, and have enjoyed a few visits from some great friends. The school year wrapped up nicely - both boys loved their teachers and are looking forward to next year - and we are excited for all this summer has to offer. There will be no shortage of fun and excitement. Between Pawley's, Orlando, Summer's Best Two Weeks, Grady's sports camp, and a trip to stay with the Junkers before school resumes, well the summer feels over before it's begun. Oh...and we are finally going to make it to Europe after all. Nana came through, again, and is coming back in September. We are so thankful for her. Here's to no more volcanic eruptions!!!
