Conner the Concert Violinist

You cannot see Conner - only the very tip of his bow behind the Jolly Green Giant situated directly in front of him. We were sort of blown away at how full the sound was for a 4th and 5th grade strings performance. Very impressive. Enjoy!

Happy May!

A late night in NYC with my ladies!

Easter in Pawleys.

Mount Vernon layover on our way to South Carolina.

All of my girls in NYC for a very fun day of memory making!

1st Grade Special Person Day.

Happy Mother's Day from Morton's...picture of a picture.

Conner's orchestra concert.

Looking dapper for the big show!

Our Saturday fun!

May is just about over, but I had to get a quick post in. The boys are having a great time with soccer and scouts. Conner will be earning his Compass emblem in Webelos tomorrow night, and Grady will be receiving his Tiger badge on the 9th. They have really enjoyed this year and are looking forward to next year, wherever that may be.

We are quite busy wrapping everything up with school. The last day is not until the 16th and we have so much to do, from Field Day to Art and Author Night and many other plays and special days in between. It's crazy but fun. Both Conner and Grady have had a great year in school and this sort of tops the year off just right.

Shawn has been traveling a ton and it doesn't seem to be slowing down - it's the nature of the beast but we are thankful for how hard he works and how blessed we are. I got to host my annual Ladies Weekend this year. The 6 of us enjoyed a weekend full of laughs and fun times as we pampered ourselves, enjoyed shows in NYC, and cruised around singing loudly - just like old times!

We are still in limbo as we wait to see what is happening with the sale of our home. Only time will tell. We are currently accepting prayer as this transition time is difficult for everyone :-)
