Disney Fun

Waiting for the fireworks at the MK. I got all the kids these Mickey shirts so they wore them all week so we could spot them easier. Yes, we washed them every night!!
Ferry ride back to MK after the Hoop Dee Do Revue. It was so much fun...we'll be going back for sure!

In line for the infamous pineapple floats. They were pretty good...too bad we were so full from dinner.

A little Pirate silliness.

The whole group.

Fun at the Revue.

One of Conner's favorite movies is Splash...this is the fountain that Madison gives Alan as a gift.

The American Idol Experience is a lot of fun at Hollywood Studios. Kathleen got to be up on the big screen wishing this contestant, Dylan, good luck.

Dancing in Tomorrowland.

Hollywood Studios.

Conner and Nicole on the bus.

I have a picture of the boys in this spot dating back several years.

Craziness while waiting for Toy Story Mania.

Grady had my camera and was snapping away.

All the kids with their peace signs. That seemed to be the cool thing to do.

We've got our bug eyes on for the show!

Grammy and Pappy with the grandkids.

Woo hoo! Heading to the parks on the first day!

Wow! How time flies when you are having fun! We had a great vacation with the Johnson side of the family in Florida. Disney always delivers lots of great moments and the resort where we stayed turned out to be really nice - a perfect place if you need more than 1 bedroom in the Disney area but don't want to spend your entire vacation budget on lodging. I can't say I'm sorry to be home, though. Turns out I have bronchitis. I've been sick for the past month, but I figured it was just a summer cold. However, after returning from Florida I woke up feeling pretty sick for a couple of days so Shawn urged me to see a doctor. Glad I did. I'm now taking a bunch of medications in the hopes that this thing doesn't turn into walking pneumonia. Great. I've been trying to take it as easy as possible - as easy as a mom can take it I suppose - while still trying to keep on top of things at the house and making sure the kids are getting outside.
Conner leaves for SB2W next Sunday for his second year. I still can't believe I have a child old enough to be going to a sleep away camp! Heck, one more summer home then Grady will be old enough to attend as well. He already wants to go.
Well, the Summer of Robyn (as Shawn has begun to call it) is not over yet. I'm heading out to San Fran to visit Bridget and her family in August and then we will be in France at the beginning of September. It's been a great summer so far and I'm so thankful for all that we've been able to see and do. What wonderful memories our boys have from our travels.
