Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!

The elf's first hiding spot. Appropriately upon the beautiful clock!

Yes, Selim...that title is for you! (I haven't heard that song yet - I guess I'll need to break out that CD.)

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a very busy yet very nice holiday. We were all up and down the east coast as we spent the holiday with both families then traveled up to Foxboro to see the Steelers stomp on the Patriots. Yes, it was worth the drive!

In addition to seeing our families, we also got to spend the day with the Mileys! The kids were many so we are looking forward to Valentine's weekend when they will be coming up our way for a long weekend.

A new tradition we have started this year is all thanks to our friends Dolores and Larry. The Elf on the Shelf is a neat little story about an elf that spends time before Christmas with your family but travels to the North Pole at night to report to Santa. Conner and Grady wake up each morning, usually early, to search for the elf. I hope that the elf doesn't run out of places to hide as he still has 2 1/2 more weeks of spots to find!

Aww I wish we could've been at the Junker's for Thanksgiving, but that's the in laws holiday!! Marleigh and Michael have an elf named Miller that comes to life at night and does crazy stuff to their house! They love it!! He toilet papered their Grandma's kitchen one night and got out all their shoes another!! It's so cute, they get so excited!! Well maybe next Thanksgiving we'll get to NC!!
