Some pics from Christmas

Here are some pictures from Christmas morning and our visit with Shawn's family. Yesterday we finally got some snow, so we headed up north to Loon Mountain and went ice skating. A great time was had by all of the kids, however, Grady was much more fond of the climbing wall.

Sorry for the lack of updating...

I know we have a few tried and true blog readers out there, so, I apologize to those of you who have been checking regularly to no avail. Anyway, here's the scoop in a nutshell:

The move was a complete success...we are in the house and loving it. We've entertained a couple of times and people say it looks like we've been here for years. I hope that's a good thing and not code for you need to clean your house!

Conner is loving his new school, as am I. Much better schedule and much better school.

Grady is liking the new house. He's still a wildman but becoming quite the comedian.

Thanksgiving was great. I took the boys down south to see my family while Shawn was studying for and taking the CFP. We'll find out January 28th the results. Say a prayer!!

Christmas is upon us and I think I'm ready. We'll host our annual "Orphaned Family" dinner - anyone without family in the area is invited for dinner. We usually have a couple of families here then a few more join us for games. Shawn's family will be arriving the Thursday after Christmas for a few nights. We are looking forward to having the space in the house filled with many people and great times!

That is about it for the moment. Shawn and I got back to Pittsburgh for his Christmas party last weekend. It is always a blast and a nice opportunity for us to spend some time together sans kiddos. (Conner spent the weekend with a friend of his and Grady was with a babysitter.)

Hope this finds everyone ready for the holidays and in good spirits. Take care and I promise pictures after Christmas!
