Here Comes The Sun!

Crocs all around for Easter.Wow. If you've heard anything about the recent weather in New England then you'll know that we've had quite a bit of rain. Therefore, I am thrilled to report that it is sunny in New Hampshire! Yes, we need to see the sun in order to dry out some very wet areas around here. Last May our basement in Manchester flooded so I was very concerned about the rain this past week. This house has no history of water problems but it didn't stop me from thoroughly inspecting each room in the basement every morning and night. Thankfully, upon each check I was unable to detect even a drop of water.

Conner had his first Tae Kwon Do test this past Monday where he broke a piece of wood with his bare hand. He was quite impressed - I'll take a picture of him this Friday when he gets his first belt - and has been showing anyone and everyone his A+ work. (The instructor actually wrote A+ on it so that is even better.)
We are waiting to hear if Conner is able to get onto a little league team this spring as there is a wait list, but both of the boys are signed up for camp at a local performing arts center. The program runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30-12:30 from July 9-Aug 10. Grady is especially excited for this since it's his first "school", Conner is looking forward to going back for a second summer, and I'm thrilled that they have the same schedule for once. This will curtail our more lengthy summer trips but a summer in New England will be good for them.
Spencer and Sayward are missed terribly. We had a great time with them, despite the weather, and can't wait to see the Elliotts again soon.

Spencer let me get a quick pic - luckily with her good pigtail! If I were the king of the forest......

Our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt was in the snow.

My three guys faking me out.

Conner and Spinster.
