Say a prayer for my sanity...please!

All I can say is, Ugh! That is how I am feeling. So much to do, so little time...a good stress but a stress none the less. The boys are holding up pretty well but I can tell that they are sensing my frustrations. A friend of mine reminded me that this too will pass...how true. It is all too easy to lose sight of that in the midst of the craziness of life. So, in light of that, just keep me in your thoughts and prayers these next two weeks. I'm not to the point of being completely overwhelmed but I've let my concerns get the better of me so I need to remember that, yes, this too will pass, and to prioritize well. Also, Conner is going to be switching schools. This has been very hard for me (I know, I wanted to move to get into another school and now I'm sad that he's leaving this one) because he is sad about leaving his class. We got the October calendar from school a couple of weeks ago, and when I showed him when his last day was, he drew a sad face on that day. I know, he'll be fine, but it made me sad for him. I guess that just comes with being a mom. I think I'll spare my blog readers the details of the next two weeks and just post some pics once we're in the house. Take care!

Here it is...

Here's the new house. I am VERY excited to get in for the holidays. The front sitting room is the perfect spot for the tree and there is plenty of space for the annual Christmas Day dinner. I know our soon-to-be neighbors, both behind us and across the street, and am looking forward to being in a neighborhood with loads of kids (as is Conner...he has requested on several occasions to live in an apartment so that we could have more kids around us.) Also, the playroom in the basement is enormous, in fact the basement is the size of a small house so when it's wet and dreary this winter, the boys will have an area where they can play to their heart's content with friends and eachother but not be in the middle of the action. Can you tell that I'm pumped for this move??

On a different note, Shawn and I went to the movies last night...impromptu date night! Anyway, we saw The Departed. Awesome. Jack Nicholson was brilliant, as usual, Mark Wahlberg was outstanding, and Alec Baldwin was hilarious. Of course Leo and Matt were great, but those were the standouts for me. It isn't necessarily a big screen must-see but definitely a must-see at some point.

Well, we will be off to church this morning, then I believe I see some mud and tape in my future this afternoon. There was one little thing that had to be done in the garage for it to pass final inspection...yeah, it's been 2 1/2 years since we finished Shawn's office but the inspections have been a little slow...so I'll be doing the finish work today so we can get that taken care of this week. Home inspections happen this week as well. Pray there are no surprises at either house.

Have a great week.

WE GOT IT!!

That's right...Oct. 30th we move into our new (to us) home in Bedford, NH! It is a hop, skip, and a jump from where we live now but in a nicer community and better school district. I am beside myself excited for this. The house is awesome with even more space for the boys to run wild and for guests. If you are planning a trip to New England stop by - we'd love to have you!!
